Dunvegan View is located on the east coast of the Isle of Harris, also known as The Bays for its miniature fjords.
15 mins from Tarbert ferry and only 15-20 mins from Luskentyre beach.
How to get here
(operated by Caledonian MacBrayne) travel from Ullapool to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) or from Uig (Isle of Skye) to either Lochmaddy (Isle of North Uist) or direct to Tarbert (Isle of Harris). There is also a vehicle ferry connecting Leverburgh (Harris) and Berneray (North Uist).
follow A859 which heads all the way to Tarbert.
follow B859 south for about four miles, passing the tourist information booth in the layby on the left, do not take the Golden Road to the left, but take the next left turn signposted for Greosabhagh. Follow on for another three miles to Cluer. Dunvegan View (9 Cluer) is the second house on the right.
the east coast road (Golden Road) is narrow and twisting so the easiest route is to head west along the B859 past Seilebost, taking the first right turn signposted for Stockinish, then first left to Cluer(Cliuther). Dunvegan View is the third house on the left.
